Initiative for introducing innovation for sustainable, competitive and energy efficient construction by applying the tool for building information modelling- BIM- within the Project “Toward market-based skills for sustainable energy efficient construction

As a support to the construction sector, and in the direction of creating additional capacities of the employees for the implementation of the parameters for energy efficient construction, on February 5 and 6 2019 in the Centre for transfer of technologies and innovations- INNO FEIT, a two-day workshop took place for the promotion of the Project “Toward market-based skills for sustainable energy efficient construction- TRAINEE” (http://trainee-mk.eu/mk), that is part of the European program “Horizon 2020”.

Initiating Building Information Modeling BIM with first promo events


Within the Project, the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) will be initiated through promotional activities at national level. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is at the centre of a digital transformation of the construction sector and the built environmentslika 5.

Еstablishment of Knowledge and skills management Centre

The Knowledge and skills management Centre is established in order to give support in development of sustainable EE market-based construction skills that will tackle one of the main expected impacts of the call - Plans for sustainability after the project's life. The establishment of such Knowledge and skills management Centre will gather together the activities of project partners in their field of expertise and will ensure achievement of the multiple aims of the project. 

Inititing BIM at national level - first step towards digitisation of constuction industry

KICK-OFF Conference of TRAINEE

Trainee 27.09.2018 1As part of the sub-programme “Energy efficiency” within the European program “Horizon 2020” on September 27-28.2018, in the Alexander Palace Hotel two days kick-off conference took place for the Project “Toward market-based skills for sustainable energy efficient construction” (TRAINEE).

The event was opened and moderated by Jadranka Arizankovska, senior advisor in the Economic Chamber of Macedonia and coordinator of the “TRAINEE” Project, and she greeted the guests, presented the speakers and the panelists and highlighted the importance of the project, stating that the main objective of the Project is to improve the skills of the construction professionals- architects, engineers and construction workers for constructing energy efficient facilities.
